Another shaboom, shaboom good day to each and all, and a big hug and kiss to this beautiful new day, today, that we have to experience.
With the snow about gone and new bird songs in the air, it would seem the Winter may be making the hand off to Spring in these parts, the Northwest. Temps are getting warmer finally, into the 50’s F and even touching the 60’s for an hour or two here and there during a few days. Not many yet, but they’re coming, you can smell them coming. lol
We have been through many winters in the Northeast, and been here and there in some seriously cold conditions, like snow training at Camp Ripley in Minnesota, and have long said that Winter and Summer are nice to visit, but Spring and Fall is where it’s at. Could be why we seem to favor the Northeast, pretty much Spring and Fall weather year round with some extreme Winter and Summer thrown in for a few weeks.
March has been another busy, busy month, a good busy though. More referrals, more clients, although most were very short term, and we helped many of them for free! As long as we make our paper we don’t mind, and we’ve just about, almost made up the money we lost learning to avoid junkie business owners, so all is good. Folks don’t have any money, and despite what the media says, the middle class is all but gone. Middle class now are the teachers, firemen, and those retired getting both social security and a pension. There are less and less small businesses, period! Mom and Pop shops are few and far between, same with family owned and operated businesses, and both are more endangered than the Amur Leopard but nobody is talking about it. PEW Research Center reports that the latest numbers show those in the middle class are those households that make between $40,500 and $122,000, and we’re willing to bet that most of them lean more towards that 40k number than the 122k number.
There is lots going on in much bigger pictures than folks are aware of, not just in local communities or counties or states or regions or even countries, but global stuff, and at this point we don’t see how the Have Nots can ever overcome the Haves. It’s too late for that! Fortunately, it appears we won’t have to, but that’s another ramble. lol
Well, we started this in March and have been so busy it’s now April as we continue, the fun, the fun, the fun…
We’ve been extra busy because we finally joined the A.R.E. so we could have access to the entire documented readings of Edgar Cayce and we have been reading them whenever we get the chance. We have long been a fan of Mr. Cayce and have read what we could over the years as we came across it. Although most of his stuff, like over 85%, is related to holistic healing, there is still so much other information in his material. His excuse is simple, the man had access to the Akashic records! The “Sleeping Prophet” as he was called, helped lots of people live healthier lives, and his material, pretty much like anything ancient regardless of which religion, exemplifies oneness and love as the basics of humanity, of existence itself.
Our mother is back in Maine and they sold the house in Florida and won’t be returning. She’ll be 78 this year and is still in great health. We’ll stop in for a visit when we head to NH in June to get the RV inspected and stickered for another year. Right now the plan is to visit our son in Colorado for a few days and then we’re due back in Alabama. Then we’ll make our way north to NH, visit Rick and Cheryl and our mother in Maine, and then we are needed in Georgia and Florida. That should take us into July, we’ll see.
But enough of this, we’ve lots to do, and just wanted to get something out because it has again been so long. Our head is whacked and full of wonder and joy but we’ll sort it all out and keep at it, and we know once we get back on the road our thinking will settle down and we’ll write more again. Heck, if not for Petra, also another ramble, a truly amazing woman, we would have gone stir crazy here, and we can never thank her enough.
